Abstract

The characteristics of HDI achievement in Demak Regency are described through each of its constituent indicators. These indicators are Life Expectancy (AHH) for measuring components of long life and healthy living; Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) and Average Years of Schooling (RLS) for measuring knowledge components; and Per Capita Expenditure for measuring the components of a decent standard of living. With the publication of this HDI, it is hoped that it can provide input and consideration in evaluating and making development policies, especially human development, in the future.
