Abstract

Air transport

The total number of departures (embarkations) of commercial air transport passengers from Central Java in January 2025 was 139,265 people, an increase of 3.41 percent compared to December 2024 which was recorded at 134,676 people.

The total number of arrivals (debarkations) of commercial air transport passengers to Central Java in January 2025 was 136,599 people, down 3.62 percent compared to December 2024 which was recorded at 141,731 people.

Domestic flights are only available at Ahmad Yani Airport, Semarang and Adi Sumarmo Surakarta, while flights are at nggul Wulung Airport, Cilacap, Dewadaru Jepara, JB. Soedirman Purbalingga and Ngloram Blora still have not opened scheduled domestic flights. International flights only exist at Adi Sumarmo Airport, Surakarta.

Sea Transportation

The total number of departures (embarkations) of sea transport passengers via Tanjung Emas, Jepara and Karimunjawa Sea Ports in January 2025 was 23,462 people, down 5.54 percent compared to December 2024 which was 24,838 people. Meanwhile, the number of arrivals (debarkations) of sea transport passengers in January 2025 was recorded at 18,614 people, down 26.57 percent compared to December 2024 which was 25,349 people.

The number of non-oil and gas commodities unloaded in tons at the Ports of Jepara, Tanjung Emas Semarang, Tanjung Intan Cilacap, Tegal and Karimunjawa for domestic trade in January 2025 was recorded as a whole at 1,451,435 tons, down 13.08 percent compared to December 2024 which was 1,669,900 tons. The number of loadings of non-oil and gas commodity goods in tons through the five large ports in Central Java in January 2025 was recorded at 2,039 tons, an increase of 252.16 percent compared to the previous month which was 579 tons.
